Senator Coburn (aka, Dr. No) presents explosive arguments to limit all forms of government spending. At numerous times the book seems to repeat itself, for example, in the harangues against career politicians or other Beltway insiders who work to remain in power rather than make difficult fiscal decisions to ensure a sustainable economy and when he presents solutions that seem a rehash of the problems. Unfortunately, amid the author's cases for change are polemic, caustic, judgmental statements that will sabotage many listeners' ability to engage fully with Coburn's efforts to defuse the ticking debt bomb. John Pruden's no-nonsense narration is a sobering scenario of a debt crisis (c. 2014).
