Drowning with Others

This follow-up to The Swing of Things by Keir (coauthors Linda Joffe Hull and Keir Graff) is the story of a highly revered and envied family, the Copelands. Ian and Andi met decades ago at Glenlake Academy. Now their daughter, Cassidy, is a senior at the same school. As previous generations of Copelands have made Glenlake part of their history, Glenlake, too, has enjoyed the financial generosity and support of the Copelands. However, when a new writer-in-residence decides to utilize his talent as an investigative journalist in a class that Cassidy is taking, the carefully crafted life the Copelands have created is challenged. With the recent discovery of a submerged car containing the remains of a previous writer-in-residence from 20 years ago, when Ian and Andi were seniors themselves, the past secrets, hurts, and stories they have told all come to the surface as well.
