After Hazel Bristow’s ex-husband cheated on her, bankrupted her, and disappeared, she and her five foster dogs were reduced to living in her friend’s empty house while it’s on the market. This canine-filled romantic comedy features likable protagonists, but exploring their backstories more could have given them additional depth.
