The majority are intended for use in creative play, so the making is only the beginning of the fun. The projects are divided by theme, with each theme featuring two to four coordinated projects, most requiring materials that can be found around the house, such as cookie tins, paper plates, and cardboard. The directions are straightforward, and the authors provide suggestions for games using the finished crafts. Some projects can be made by children with adult supervision, others are constructed by adults for children to enjoy.
