Murder in G Major

Mix a bold African American musician, the Irish countryside, and the ghost of a murdered composer, and you have the makings of a captivating mystery. Gethsemane Brown reluctantly assumes the role of music teacher and conductor of the orchestra at a boys school in rural Ireland. The position comes with the stipulation that she prepare the orchestra to win the all-county competition. In addition to her professional challenges, Gethsemane is pressured by the ghost of the composer whose cottage she occupies to prove that he didn't murder his wife and subsequently take his own life. As Gethsemane asks questions in the small town where everyone knows everyone and their business, there are more murders and her life is now in danger, which only compels her to work harder. London-based actress Jessica Carroll narrates with a soothing British accent, while her pitch-perfect Irish and American dialects bring the characters to life.
