Garden designer van der Kloet (Growing Bulbs in the Natural Garden) has consulted for the Netherlands’ Keukenhof, Chicago’s Lurie Garden, and New York’s Battery Park. Van der Kloet concludes with photographs of her favorite bulb combinations, listing the varieties and the percentages she uses for each design. U.S. gardeners will need to research her plant suggestions as USDA hardiness zones are not included, and not all metric measurements are translated.
