Former disgraced TV star Verity Moore has her chance at redemption when she crosses over to singing and is signed by Travis Taggert, a famous L.A. agent known for discovering the hottest acts. Guitarist Dax Hughes can't stop fantasizing about Verity ever since he ran into her in an elevator, but he's carefully guarding his heart and knows he can't mix business with pleasure. VERDICT Since the first series offerings (Rock King; Rock Legend), Leigh's characterizations and writing have grown significantly, and most readers will find this latest foray to be a sexy read to devour. Addressing the timely #MeToo Movement also takes this story beyond typical romantic fluff.
