The Legacy of Molly Southbourne

A legacy of blood and death follows Molly Southbourne: any drop of her blood can create a clone whose prime directive is to kill its progenitor. In this final novella in Thompson’s trilogy (after The Survival of Molly Southbourne), the original Molly is gone, and the last surviving mollies have come together to try to live the rest of their lives in peace. However the blood of Molly Southbourne still holds secrets, secrets that started in a Cold-War Soviet lab and have carried through to the present. There are some left who know where those secrets originated. Their pursuit will lead the last of the mollies to reignite their inborn murderous traits for one final battle to the death, in order to get a chance at life. The clones grow within their own character arcs, and Thompson highlights the internal battles they each wage in forging individual identities.
