In this sports romance from Locke (Like You Love Me), Palmer Clark is a single mom who is just trying to do what is best for her son, Ethan. She longs for a stable partner in her life. Cole is a recently retired baseball player trying to figure out what’s next for him after an injury ends his career. Cole has several options back in California, but none of the choices feel right to him. He’s visiting the small town in Ohio where his parents live when he runs into Palmer. They hit it off one night at a bar, but Palmer is leery since Cole is only in town for a short time. Cole ends up volunteering to coach Ethan’s little league team, which shows him what has been missing from his life.
