VERDICT While Carly is not your typical female protagonist, with her smoking, drinking, and drug habit, her battle to overcome her demons and make a life with the hunky Devon will have romance fans ensnared in this latest from Claire (Hollywood Hot Mess). While readers might not relate to the Hollywood starlet or her beefcake boyfriend, this love-conquers-all tale—in all of its explicitness—can be quite addictive itself.
