True Dead

In her 14th outing (after Shattered Bonds), Jane Yellowrock (the vampire hunter–turned–vampire queen of Cherokee descent) has healed from a near-death experience but is still having issues with her Beast form. As Dark Queen of the vampires, Jane must protect all the supernatural beings and the humans in her domain, so she’s called into action to put an end to a spate of recent attacks on the vampires of her rural Yellowrock Clan in the mountains and the vampires in her old New Orleans stomping grounds. Old magic and secrets will be used against Jane in an attempt to take her down, but she is determined to defend her people and her power, no matter the cost. Jane has trouble balancing her leadership position with her drive to fight, but the possible return of a tenuous ally might take the situation out of Jane’s hands/paws and make her face the reality of her future.
