This new entry in Bernan's "U.S. DataBook" series compiles information from several federal agencies, specifically the U.S. Census Bureau, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, and the Department of Veterans Affairs. The work is organized into three parts and showcases sets of tables from each of these organizations, with frequent Bernan editor Hertz-Hattis (Justice Statistics; Crime in the United States 2015) providing a highlights summary page introducing each section. While more analysis would have been welcome, this reference will be useful to those seeking data relating to state populations, disability and employment details, and more. An appendix listing beneficial websites is also included.
