Live Reference Coming in Spanish

LSSI is recruiting bilingual and bicultural reference librarians to help develop Servicios de Referencia en Espanol—live, real-time Spanish-language reference services over the web. According to an electronic mailing list message posted by LSSI's Steve Coffman, libraries may choose to staff the service themselves or they can outsource it to LSSI staff. "There are already many libraries strongly interested in this service, but most lack the resources to staff it entirely on their own," he wrote.
