This Banned Books Week (9/22 to 9/28), Penguin Random House is celebrating the freedom to read and drawing attention to the destructiveness of censorship.
 

In order to shine a light on books that have been banned, they are doing an exclusive Banned Books Week Takeover of their First Look Book Club, in partnership with Dear Reader.
 

The First Look Book Club, a daily email excerpt program that goes out to 25K+ readers, was launched in 2014, and offers both librarians and patrons a great way to dip into some of the best new books, plus the opportunity to enter weekly book giveaways. During Banned Books Week, First Look Book Club will feature excerpts of classic banned books.
