This is the 12th and final book in the multi-author “Colton 911: Chicago” series (after Colton 911: Secret Alibi by Beth Cornelison). VERDICT Devoted readers of the series will consider this a must-read, as all of the loose threads of the prior books are finally wrapped up here. Cartoonish villains with over-the-top motivations, however, mean that everyone else would be fine giving it a pass.
