Both have allies with their own agendas. As winter sets in, it becomes a battle of survival as each group must weigh what price they’ll pay for the blood-stained gold. Strong characters, deeper philosophical themes of avarice versus survival, and engaging illustrations will keep readers immersed from start to finish. Meant for mature readers as cruelty towards animals and people is shown.
