InterVarsity Press has issued a second edition of its much-acclaimed title about Pauline literature. This new edition has been thoroughly revised and updated with the latest scholarship on the subject. The volume is organized alphabetically, with 208 signed articles authored by some of the most notable scholars in New Testament studies, such as Lukas Bormann, Craig A. Evans, Michael J. Gorman, and dozens of other well-regarded authorities in the field. There are other sections as well, including “Fellowship,” “Communion,” “Sharing,” “Hermeneutics/Interpreting Paul,” and “Rhetorical Criticism.” Other topics new to this edition include interpretations from a variety of historical and cultural perspectives. Each entry contains cross-references to others in the book, plus there’s an extensive bibliography for additional information.
