Schaeffer occasionally drops in tech and pop culture references, making for a playful and comfortable read. Several of his examples concern patients who experienced panic attacks related to the pandemic, a topic that will resonate with many readers. Schaeffer’s work might also be helpful for people who don’t personally suffer from panic attacks but could benefit from a toolkit to help others and be more aware of what panic can look like.
